Taurus Rear Brake Caliper Upgrade for 94-04 Mustang by Powerstop Performance
These Taurus rear brake calipers use much larger pistons that work much more effectively in locking up your rear tires when you pull your handbrake (or slowing your Mustang if you are planning on not using them for a handbrake). While your factory Mustang calipers can work to lock up the wheels with the right pads, these Taurus calipers are much more effective at achieving that desired lock-up. We prefer to use Hawk HP+ Cobra pads, HB183N.585
PowerStop’s cherry red powder-coated Performance brake caliper features upgraded boots, seals and a high-temperature silicone lube for improved performance and longevity. It is custom designed to bolt perfectly on your vehicle and is pressure tested to prevent leaks.

Please Note: These Taurus calipers work best with SN95 Mustang caliper brackets, Mustang Cobra pads (We prefer to use Hawk HP+ Cobra pads, HB183N.585), and pad clips. Mustang brake caliper brackets are required to bolt up to the Dual Caliper brackets. You can source your own, or order some from us (when available). These brackets will not fit on the 4 Lug Cobra setup.
It's possible to have some brake drag initially after install, and the pad thickness, and the calipers can vary. Typically after a day or two of driving, the pads will wear down to where they will no longer drag.
