James Deane wins the 2024 FD Championship! This is his fourth FD Championship, and the fourth for Ford and RTR! Irwindale concluded another amazing Formula Drift season, and the last season that was concluded at Irwindale Speedway. James Deane's win at FD Irwindale is a significant achievement, especially as it's his record-breaking fourth championship, as the track faces closure. Irwindale, often called "The House of Drift," has been an iconic venue in the drift community, hosting epic battles and memorable moments over the years. Its closure marks the end of an era, as this track has been central to Formula Drift's rise in popularity.

As we mourn the death of Irwindale Speedway, we are excited to celebrate James Deane's Fourth FD Championship, as well as the Fourth for RTR, and Ford Performance; making Ford the winningest manufacturer in Formula Drift's history! This is also the second season in a row where a Mustang has won the Championship!
