Product Description
DriftSpec Rear Lower Control Arms 79-04 Mustang by Scotidi Race Development
Get rid of those bulky stamped arms with flimsy rubber bushings when you convert to coilover suspension. Or even better, get rid of those terrible urethane bushing arms that rip your chassis mounts apart!
-Comes with stock sway bar provisions and high end, lubrication free, stainless steel rod ends for long lifespan. Most of the time when you buy these style arms they put the cheapest rod ends they can in.
-Full articulation of the axle is allowed with these arms, unlike any other arm that doesn't use rod ends for both ends. To be used with a panhard bar or watts link.
-Sold as a pair
Please Note: You must use an axle locating device such as a Panhard Bar or Watts Link, or you will have a bad time!
An axle locating device is HIGHLY recommended for any performance fox/sn95 chassis (79-04). From the factory, Ford left out this device in lieu of using "quadra-bind" control arms that were supposed to bind and prevent the axle from moving too much via the rubber bushings. These bushings go bad easily and all of these chassis have excessive lateral axle movement that cause unpredictable and unpleasant driving characteristics.
